I've already checked the rims. They are okay. Nor is it tire balance or cupping. The wear is a result of poor alignment. With so many previous alignments, wheel balancing, and wheel replacements I thought of potholes. But I haven't hit and potholes. I even considered an unbalanced driveshaft. I then thought of dampers/shocks needing replacement but visible tire wear points to alignment and not to a bouncing wheel. Something else is causing the problem. We shall see.

My 2016 XF had a similar vibration issue. It was insignificant and rotating the tires kept inner tire wear within reason. However, as previously pointed out in one Forum thread, there are build variations at all factories. Machines aren't perfect. They too wear and the variables introduce inherent issues. Otherwise everyone would have all of the exact same problems for any given vehicle.

Decades ago (before all the automation) I would check the VIN on a new U.S. vehicle to avoid ones that were assembled on a Monday or Friday supposedly because workers on the assembly line would either be recovering from a weekend hangover or thinking more about the upcoming weekend than the job at hand. But I digress. I'll provide updates as things are checked out.
