Hi all, first time posting here and I'm afraid I don't even own a Jag... (Not yet anyway)

However I have been becoming interested lately in creating an office chair out of a car seat and after deciding to finally go ahead with the project have ordered a front passenger seat from a 2017 XF R Sport.

It has occurred to me that car manufacturers often put seat airbags in the sides nowadays and it appears this is the case in this model.

My question is, has anyone had experience in removing one of these? I can't seem to find anything helpful online or any diagrams that will aid me. Or am I being overcautious and shouldn't need to remove the airbag at all?
