Default Retrofit Adaptive Cruise Control

Does anyone know if it possible to retrofit the adaptive cruise control, or any other driver assistance features such as blind spot monitoring, self parking, etc for a 2016 Jaguar XF X260?

I can't imagine how any of those would be practical, even if possible - which is unlikely. Adaptive cruise uses a fairly large "sonar" transceiver in the grill (Complete new grill) On BMW it's about a 4" square. On Mercedes it's inside the circular logo, maybe 5" circle. I haven't even looked to see where it is on my current XF). Adaptive cruise has feedback to the instrument cluster (Upgraded instrument cluster). It coordinates with the windshield cameras (Software and a whole bunch of additional stuff). It is controlled by additional buttons on the steering wheel and/or the steering column (new steering wheel/column). It has it's own chipset that is added to the control module (I have no idea how you'd overcome that). That's assuming it was available in 2016 on your trim level. If not, you'd also need a new wiring harness. Reading this back, I know it sounds kind of snarky, but I'm not sure how to convey this without listing the complications of what it would take. It may be time to hit the for-sale ads and upgrade.

If you did any research you would see it has been done multiple times on the X250 with not much difficultly. My car already has a menu option for driver assistance on the dash software wise. If you don't have anything to contribute don't comment.

Yes, all of the above are possible and that's talking from experience, not theory.

I do have the park assist already. Do you have the part numbers for the adaptive cruise control?

Ok, well you mentioned self parking. Part numbers can be found by searching online EPC's or getting yourself a copy of EPC.

Park Assist = "self parking"
PDC = "beeping sensors"
