Default SIM Card

Has anyone tried a different internet provider after the 3 month AT&T trial has expired?

Jaguar won't say it will not work only that it hasn't been tested. I would think that any micro sim data card would be fine but I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks

I went with a different provider - $15 for 3 gb/month and it works perfectly.

This is interesting.... Every dealer I went to when looking for cars said that I had to use their provider. I know Audi switched last year I believe it was. No way we can get 4G is there? lol. that's one of the things that nearly stopped me from getting a Jag. I passed on the 2013 Jag's as the tech was just so far behind the others. Even Genesis offers 4G.

My 2018 XF will have 4G WiFi. The on line configurator still shows it as 3G, but the printed 2018 brochure shows it will be 4G. I confirmed with my dealer prior to ordering just to play it safe and have been assured it will be 4G. I'm not crazy about getting service from AT&T, so I'll most likely be looking for a different provider as well once the complimentary service is used up. I can't see any reason any other service wouldn't work, but I haven't looked around yet to see who else may offer it. The car was just unloaded off the ship today and supposed to arrive around July 21st, so I'll see then! If anyone else is using a different provider, please list who you're using and what they charge per month.

I went with Fido in Canada, a subsidiary of Rogers. The iPad data plan was the cheapest.
