Default Transmission Fault

I have taken my Jag to 3 shops. One refused to look, one said they replaced fluid and bring back if it still happens I may need new transmission. One said it didn't show any probs for them. It gets a transmission fault more frequently now. It does this when it tachometer is around 1.5 and I am decelerating and then picking back up speed. It's a bugger and dangerous. Does anyone have advice on who to trust to fix this? I am in Atlanta, GA. When it happens I pull over and turn off and on vehicle and it runs fine again for awhile.

Hello and Welcome AC..
Sorry to hear of your woes.
Your profile shows 2010 XFR which is the X250 model (different forum) but since you're here in its successor 2016+ X260 Forum:

What's your current mileage?
Did you buy from Hennessey Jag originally?
Any maintenance performed on your 10 year old trans?

Default Transmission Fault on Jaguar XFR 2010 still

I have had service on the Jaguar periodically per recommendations. I randomly still get the transfault when slowing below 2.0 tach down to 1.5 and then acceleratiing. It will cause the fault. When I have asked mechanics that specialize in Jag I get blank stares. I am afraid to take it to someone who has not specifically seen a trans fault code and repaired a trans fault code. I am in Atlanta. Any recommendations are still welcome.

BTW this is an X260 forum (MY2015 - beyond) You should address this to the X250 forum https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xf-xfr-x250-44/
