Just finished a full paint correction on my '13 XF and wanted to share the results for anyone interested. All in took about 35-40 hours and the following was used. Most of jaguar tends to have similarly responsive paint, as now am working on a friends F-Pace with the same combination.
For anyone also wanted to do it, used the following:
Menzerna Heavy Cut 400, with a Meguairs Cutting Microfiber Pad
Followed by: 3D Detailing Polish on a Meguards Finishing pad
Followed by: Gyeon Q2 Primer on a black Foam pad
Followed with with the foam pas as I fine the MF disks to not have as good of a finish as foam pads.
All were put on a Rupes LHR15MkII
All this was then followed by every single painted and wrapped surface being coated Gyeon Syncro ceramic coating, exhaust with G-Tecnique C5 Wheel Armour and lastly the windows in Gyeon Windshield Coating.
Here is a photo of it under a swirl finder light.
and some others in different lighting. no external editing, just camera settings were changed!
