Took the XF in for an oil change Friday and they gave me an XJ to go back to work in. Wasn't going to be able to make it back to the dealership before the 6:00 pick up time so my service guy just told me to bring it back the next day. Booooy was that thing sweet and the seats make u feel like you're relaxing in your living room recliner, not to mention the super smooth ride and great sound system...might be looking to upgrade in another year or so.

I have been in XJ myself and it's royal palace on wheels. The XF isn't quite there, but XJ would be an upgrade for sure.

That's what I was thinking as well. Out here the dealers all use Enterprise and they only seem to have base models. There's never any excitement what I'm going to get...only the dread that they won't have any JLR loaners.

Totally agree with both of you! I love my XF but being in that XJ was great...lol!

Kyanite I went thru that same thing in the beginning but after sending a email expressing my disgust with being given Toyotas as loaners (no problem with Toyotas, very good cars) but also stating I didn't buy a Jag to be driving a Toyota when I'm in for service and they've taken care of me ever since.

The advisor I go to now knows I want a Jag loaner, so it's only happened once that I didn't get what I wanted. And it was a fully loaded Acadia so it wasn't terrible. Didn't really drive it much either, so I was ok with it. Had an Evoke last time. It was kinda fun, but can't see paying anywhere near what they are asking for it. $30-$35K maybe, but $50K+. Definitely not reasonable.

WOW! I didn't realize they were asking that much but it is Land Rover so I guees that has a lot to do with its price point.
