Hi there.

My dad has a 2008 XF Premium Luxury and the DAB radio is misbehaving. It’s taking ages to find the stations. It manages to do it eventually but takes a long time. The FM radio is working fine. He’s been advised it will be the DAB module that needs replacing and that on this model it’s under the passenger seat. I’ve managed to source a module and am just wondering if it’s a seat undone job to get to the module or will I manage to get to it with the seat moved forward? I’m wondering if I could access the area by unbolting the seat and lying it back without disconnecting the connectors under it? Or should I disconnect the battery and connectors to get proper access to the area.... that’s assuming someone here can advise me the module is located elsewhere?
