Default 2009 XF SC Ballast Issue?

Hi Gents,

Suspect I may be havig an issue with the ballast for my headlight.
Passenger side will just go out for a while...than try it later or next day and light works perfectly.
Are there any known or recent issues that you guys may be aware of ?
Also, if any of you know the location of it?

Many thanks as usual!
Gpalace.

A lot of European owners have complained about a wiring problem giving these symptoms. Apparently the OEM supplier has a fix in the form of a pigtail extension, at least I think this is the fix. A Jaguar dealer should know.

Thanks! Had my mechanic investigate and he swapped a Ballast and a Headlight from side to side and is working for now...depending on which side does go out we will know what to change..thamks for the heads up on the pigtail extension possibility.
