Default 2009 XF SC No acceleration when pedal to the floor

My 2009 XF Supercharged has been running normally all day today except for the battery warning on the display screen popping up a couple of times when I started the car. Then when I was leaving the mall I started the car and it started right up but when I gave it gas it just sputtered and wouldn't go. I pushed the pedal to the floor and no power. I tried reaving the engine but still no power. I turned off the car and restarted it and it started right up, put it in drive and it drove like normal. It had full power.

Has anyone had this issue?

Drive by wire system and a battery warning - I'd have your battery checked. Seems like a strange thing to go out, but it seems a lot of screwy things happen when the batteries get low. You should at least check for corrosion.

Yes most likely battery is not up to snuff.
