My XF has 45,000 miles and my Performance Restriction light came on. Shortly after it started chugging and I was able to limp off of the freeway and pull over.
Had it towed to my Jaguar dealer and they are saying the fuel injectors were bad due to "bad" gas. Suggested I pumped diesel or that the gas was contaminated which will void out the warranty and now will be out of pocket.
BTW I did not pump diesel!

 

Ask them what codes they got and how did they decide it was due to 'bad gas'.

 

Don't stand for that, they will cover it. Most warranty claims they fight until you demonstrate the will to get it handled.
