So much for the quality survey.

I know a picture is worth a thousand words but I think we need a bit more info here. Did it fly off on the highway? Is there any evidence some kid might have tried to pull it off?

I believe warranty should cover this but unless someone tries to pull it out it should stay intact

This happened on my morning drive to work. It flew off at highway speed and smacked the windshield. Car is garaged and I did not see any evidence of tampering that morning.

You sure you weren't driving through a hurricane?

Well at least we know the vents are functional, since there must have been sufficient flow to cause it to fly off! I agree it should be fixed under warranty. Parts are not supposed to fly off the car!

Hardly a serious fault. Some clip probably broke when it was fitted to the car and th installer didn't notice.

They may be functioning but they are purely cosmetic, unnecessary embellishments. There is no way they extract meaningful amounts of air from underhood.
