My 2013 jaguar xf touchscreen turns on and off properly. No response when touching the scream. Display will change when steering wheel, knob or button function is used, just no response to touch screen commands at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Your touch sensor has failed. Possible causes are a loose cable inside the unit, or the touch layer itself is damaged/faulty.

Try to take your battery off for like 2 minutes and plug back, if it still doesn't work replace the touchscreen unit. Currently parting out a 2013 XF less than 17k miles if interested send me a message.

Yesterday the screen began to work again😄. On my way to work this mothe screen again is not responding. I haven't had this car long... Anything I need to worry about before disconnecting the battery?
