Hello, new member from Ontario, Chinada here....im wondering if anyone knows a part number for the valve guides for a 5.0l supercharged out of a 2013 XFR?I've messaged Atlantic British, phoned dealerships and posted on other sites to no avail.I did notice that there was a set by TRW but everywhere I go to look them up, doesn't show what engine they are for...very frustrating. If anyone has ANY information or a part#...could you please reply or get in contact? Thanks for your time!

Hi fellow Canadian, I agree with your naming and just wanted to be clear for readers from outside the country. (They may not understand.)

I don't the answer, but wanted to say hello.

This is a long shot but as you found getting internal parts is just about impossible.
I saw these guys are selling rebuilt long blocks and claim to add upgrades to the factory parts.

Might be worth a call to see if they can supply parts separate from a complete engine?

^ Your link didn't work but I ended up buying a set of 5 for $50us...still not great imo but it'll get my engine done although I'm looking at October now before it will be complete and ready to swap in. I started this project in April, the amount of time waiting on parts and trying to find information has been ridiculous, and this is just a rebuild of a stock engine, no upgrades or aftermarket parts...pretty disappointing imo.

Hi Pumpkineater_69,

I don't see valve guides at the list at the link below, but a good automotive machine shop may be able to source guides for you based on the dimensions of your existing guides. There are quite a few engine internal parts listed at this link:

Actually, I got them from the very same seller off ebay that has the ad in the link you posted....I didn't notice that he had engines for sale...glad you posted that, as now i have a better idea what my old engine should be worth. Hard to believe these are so hard to find parts for...well, In Canada at least

OK glad they do sell parts as all I have seen are their ad's for complete engines. What stuck out was their claim of improved parts like bigger diameter head bolts and other improvements. I had not seen anyone advertise this before? I did not know those parts were available at all!
Plus has anyone had head bolt problems?

I had a head repaired that needed a couple of new valve guides and the head shop I took it to in Kansas City found some of the shelf that were basically the correct dimensions but slightly longer and machined them down. They said the correct ones were not available from Jaguar or anybody else. They do all the head repair work for the local Jaguar dealer.
