You definitely got that last part right!

But it's funny that you consider the color effeminate when both sexes constantly comment about the color. Was at an upscale resort and all the male valets were talking to me about it both in regard to performance and appearance. So it definitely plays to both.

Over here at least Kyanite Blue was the hero colour for the XFR when it first came out, essentially as the liquid silver was for the XF SV8 back in 2008. Most of the reviews had the car in that colour.

Yep. The Top Gear car was Kyanite. It was also featured in a lot of the press photos. As far as I know, Kyanite was only offered in the XFR and XKR

Lol. You know, for all the heaps of crap I get on the forum about my leaper, out in the real world, it's the first thing admirers comment on and love it. I usually hear them say with out the leaper, they probably wouldn't have even realized it was a jaguar.
Keep in mind, in my small town, there's only about 5 newer jaguars here total.

And back to the color question, I'm actually looking at a white XF that has the black pack. First thing I'd do is black the roof and the rear boot trim, black side vents, tint the tail lights and windows, probably have the wheels painted stratus gray too. And of course, my black leaper goes with me!! I have a cheaper stock leaper in black to replace my $$ one from Germany when I trade!! Lol.

Well, if the valets love it, I guess there's no explanation for why it's so hard for the dealers to sell bright blue XFRs over other colors.
