Default 75,000 Miles Service

Hi Gents,

So my 2012 has hit 75K miles and I use it for a daily driver and basically thrash on it daily. Wanted to do some work on it before it's too late and something fails. Looking at the following:

- Differential Gear Oil change (what type - Redline?)
- ZF 6HP28 transmission oil change/with filter (CTSC Kit?)
- Rear Bearings change (hearing a "whomp, whomp, whomp" sound a low speed).

- Anything else? I have already changed the plugs at 65k miles and changed all four corners on the brake pads/rotors.

Thank you!

I paid the king's ransom for the diff fluid from the dealer. Since I do all my own work, I don't try to pinch pennies on the parts.

You might want to rotate tires front to rear before you condemn the rear bearings to check if it might be a tire issue.

You'll want to change the water pump and all the plastic in the cooling pipes and hoses if you want to be safe from blowing an engine. If they are all original, you're on borrowed time already.

Did you change the plugs yourself. How was it. Only post I've see on changing plugs was from Bigg Will and it did not look like an easy job at all. I guess a lot of us will be at or near the recommended change interval for the plugs. Is this a dealer only job? Can they even do it - lol . Anyone have it done - How much did it cost?

I had the plugs changed around 65k miles along with one of my coil packs (cylinder 8)... Hard?.. To say my mechanic was pissed off at cylinder 8 is an understatement. The two rear cylinders are a tight squeeze..
