Yes-Get the codes or your just shot gunning parts at the problem.
These are complicated computer controlled cars and you need to zero in on what the car is telling you.

Pictures from your phone of modules are of no value?

Do i need a special scanner because the little scanner that i used , there was no code came up . I thought maybe because it doesnt have anything to do with the engine

Maybe not a special scanner but your right to get one that works good for Jaguars.

Have you seen the threads on code readers?
Here again is a quick search?
About 180 threads?
Maybe start here;
Scanners for use with Jaguars

I have several and the top of the line is Jaguar SDD system but Torque Pro is great and at $5 is too cheap not to get regardless of whatever scanners you already have.
We have a custom PID pack written by a forum member that was made just for Jaguars and is simple to use
I also am picky on which ODBII adapter I use .
I like the OBDMX+
ODBLink MX+ Scan Tool

Before you do that see what you get at the auto parts stores? They will scan for free so you could do that right now.
