SRS Control Module Compatibility and Pin-out
I have a suspect SRS Control Module. I'm looking at replacements on a well known auction site, I'd like some advice about part numbers. Mine is marked:
Jaguar X250
DE2NB
1/6/2010
9X23-14D374-AC.
A candidate replacement module is
Jaguar X250
DE2NB
06/06/2008
8X23-14D374-AE
Are these interchangeable?
Also, I want to perform a continuity and isolation test from the module's loom connector back to the driver's side Front Accelerometer (Crash) sensor, can somebody please advise which pins I need to look at?

(Could you point to a good, up-to-date IDS/SDD "Getting Started Tutorial" for donks like me?
I've been using a Foxwell scanner with JLR and BMW downloads. BTW, the BMW version is far, far better than the glitchy, incomplete Foxwell JLR version.
Wondering whether current DIY homegrown IDS/SDD packages are better. Last time I looked - years ago - they seemed a kludge without spending big money)
