My wife's 2011 NA 5.0 XF was left for two weeks while on vacation, When she came back I did an oil/filter change which was due and noticed a few rat dropping falling out from the undertray. The last time, the little A-Hs chewed through one of the front brake pad wear warning wires which was a pain to splice.
Anyhow, she never mentioned, until I asked, that the airbag warning light was on. I suspect a rat has chewed through another wire, but have no idea where the wiring runs from - presumably the front Bumper. I have terminated 68 rats in less than a year and a half, my neighbors back yard is rat heaven and even with 68 down, there's plenty more where they came from I'm sure. And this is the suburbs, not the country!
What's my question? Anyone know where the air bag wiring is routed, and where the sensors are in the front bumper?
Thanks! The diagrams will be super useful.
Turns out my Innova scanner does scan SRS DTCs, I intend doing a scan tomorrow, I imagine it will show an open in either front or side impact sensors due to Rat action but we shall see.
As suspected, code B1195-13 which is an open circuit on the passenger side front sensor. Now to find the wiring and where the little s**t has chewed it through. I need to re-up my game in killing my neighbor's rats.

Glad you could track it, Good luck with the next door pets.
