Default Am I too YOUNG for a Jaguar XF?

Hi everyone,

I am 20 years old, thinking of purchasing Jaguar XF.

Now in my area I see men around 50 years old driving that thing around lol .

I am thinking whether I should get it or not?

I like the business style and the business vibe you get from the car.

I will be getting white colour with black rims.

Should I purchase it?

Would you consider a BMW 5 or an Audi A6 or Caddy CTS? If so then the XF is a good fit.

If you'd prefer a 3 or A4 series then perhaps not.

But..., if you get the Jaguar, people will notice it and that can't really be said about the others.

Age has nothing to do with it.
As long as you respect it and look after it go for it.

I wish I had one (or could afford one) when I was 20. (for all the right - and wrong reasons. hehe)

Yes Defo Audi A6, Mercedes were the others I was considering too. Well I don't mind either BMW 5 or 3. Or A6 or A4. They all look nice lol.

What do you mean people notice it? Lamborghini style notice it? Or just a look here and there?

age has NOTHING to do with it. ive been driving XJ's since i was 18.

anyone that makes a comment about your age/car can go play with themselves....its just jealousy because they know they cant be in the same position. im sure if someone offered them a free jag at 20 they'd jump on it

Are you dependent on a dealer for everything or do you DIY?

I believe it depends on the year, engine, and intended use of the car. Presumably a daily driver, but different power trains will provide much different levels of fun and satisfaction. A 4 cylinder will certainly provide a different experience than that of an XFR. And then there are various levesl in between that vary by year. In any trim the XF is an attractive car, and is not seen in volume on every street and highway.

I was fortunate (worked hard) enough to be able to afford this car at 23. The amount of looks and compliments I get for this car from friends and strangers was more than I expected. I live in Atlanta, an area filled with countless BMWs, Audis, and Mercs, so the XF is special to me.

Interesting point to buy car because of rarity or unique brand-that people look at it? Then maybe some ferrari,l ambo replica will do the job.
Here localy I could buy bugati veyron replica( for the same ammount as my jag. But I tried bmw m5, audi s6, cls amg and there no question for me, jag all the way..

>What do you mean people notice it?

Because I guarantee that you will be the "only" person who owns one.
BMWs, Audis Merc, etc., are as common as ****oles.

So arriving in a Jaguar will be noticed!

The CHICKS of course!

And the fun factor of course.

Just don't pimp it too much and keep it subtle. They are a true sleeper. Keep it classy and you won't attract the wrong type of attention (the police).

A pimpmobile like a Lambo or Ferrari is nice, but best to leave them to the old baldies in the mid life crisis.

A Jag will set you apart as a young bloke.

Is she going to kick me out the car?

Urban dictionary says... Wimmin = Alternative spelling of "women". Preferred by rabid psycho-feminists because it eliminates the "men" aspect. The singular of this word is "womon".

When I was 20, if you drove a 4-door sedan at that age, it meant that your mom or dad got a new car and gave you their hand-me-down to drive to college. I remember giving my older brother a really hard time about buying a Buick when he was 38 but then I was in a sedan myself by age 40. A sedan by choice at 20? Times and preferences have certainly changed. But don't worry about becoming that stereotypical old bald guy in a Jag like me. If its gonna fall out, the number of doors or brand of car you drive will have nothing to do with it.
