Default Another Jag saved from Salvage Euthanasia!

After a few months of playing with wrenches and a few choice words thrown in here and there, I finally got my salvage project completed and back on the road. I took the maiden voyage on a three mile run in our development today(albeit with no plates!) and was pleased with the ride. Thanks to all who answered my questions and concerns. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/i...icon_moped.gif

Mine is a 2013 originally from California. The previous owner glanced off of a guard rail but just barely hit the impact bar and was deflected mostly to the right front wheel. Pretty much took most of a front end clip and a right front door to bring it back. I am hoping the breakin period goes well and that I won't have to do much more to it.

Just noticed your headlights and hood. Were they from a 2011? Or was the replacement parts from a newer model?

Is that the OEM XFR-S front-end? Or an aftermarket one? I was told that Jaguar wouldn't sell XFR-S front ends unless you could supply a VIN # proving you owned an XFR-S?

Ooooo, there's so much STUFF in there (e.g., radiator, A/C, tranny cooler, pressurized lines, hoses, coolant reservoir...) that's a lot of complicated work.
Good on you!
