Default Any Issues From Swapping Wheels/Tires From XF to another XF?

I'm planning on swapping out the wheels/tires from one 2012 XF to another 2012 XF. Literally taking the wheels off and switching them. I wouldn't think there would be any issues but I remember reading somewhere that each TPMS wheel sensor is calibrated with the receiver via a serial number.

I don't want any annoying TPMS error messages!

Are they similar XF models? You won't fit the wheels from a base or portfolio model onto a SC or XFR model as the bigger brakes require bigger wheels
Otherwise should be fine and tpms will relearn automatically

Going from base to Portfolio model and vise versa.

If the wheels are the same size, eg both 18", then there won't be any problem.
It's only if they are different sizes that you might have a problem, eg 17" vs 18 or 19".
As BritCars says it all depends on the brake caliper sizes, and in turn that means the front calipers for all except the XFR (all XF rear calipers are the same 326 mm size except for the XFR which is 376 mm).
It's possible you have the larger 355 mm front brakes on one car and the standard 326 mm front brakes on the other. If so, and the car with the smaller front brakes has only 17" wheels, then they won't fit over 355 mm calipers, you need minimum 18" wheels to fit over the 355 mm calipers.

Agreed. So base to portfolio if the wheels are the same diameter (18 or 19inch) would be fine
You can also change from 18 to 19inch on those ones - both are OEM and aftermarket options

Thank you gentlemen! Both are 19 inch wheels.
