Hi everybody. 2 years back I sold my XKR and got a 5 series... big error, Now I'm back with a real car, got a 2008 XF V8.
I'm in Europe, got the car in Germany and the touch screen, and message centre are all in German language, does anybody know how to change them to English?
same with the voice commands etc.

 

I assume the vehicle has an owners manual. If so, it will tell you how to change languages. If it is in German, have someone over there that is fluent in the langage read it to determine how to change languages; otherwise, download the English version from the UK Jaguar website.

 

I think the procedure is straightforward if you have the touchscreen. Follow the owner's manual, you can get it in English from Topix website. On my XJ X350 with Dutch language (that I don't understand at all), I could put French (live in Belgium).

 

Thanks guys, and also thanks for that mention of Topix. I never heard of this, a quick google and I now have the owners book in PDF & English will save me having to buy an English language version. You are right, its all in there. Im fixed
