Hey everyone so I was doing the other side of my headlight on the driver side and as I pulled out the headlamp assembly a look below and I see something just hanging there looks like it belongs somewhere but I don't know it's it looks like it's attached to the wires that go to the AC lines it's an oval plastic piece I don't know if it's a sensor but if it is can someone tell me where it belongs because I don't think it's supposed to be just laying there not attached to anything here is a pic

 

i believe thats the tire pressure monitoring system sensor.

 

Yep, TPMS sensor. Gets zip tied into a slot on the bottom air shield, or whatever it is called. Just in front of the wheel well, mine was just dangling in the breeze when I got my car also. Better check the other side, there is one on the left and one on the right side.

 

yes I finally found a thread online that is exactly what it is so I just sit tight it against the firewall or some part underneath there and I'm sure it's not going to be a problem I will check the other side but I didn't see it dangling so it probably was already fastened
