Default Best Brake Discs and Pads for 2015 X250 XF 3.0D S

The brake pad warning light has just come on my 2015 X250 XF 3.0D Portfolio S - the brakes still feel totally fine but I'm getting them checked out next week.

Can anyone recommend the best discs and pads for the X250 XF S - I cover a pretty low mileage and am not a particularly high performance driver!

I understand I'll also need to buy new pad wear sensors - I've seen Pagids on Euro Car Parts - will these be ok?

Greatly appreciate any advice on which discs and pads to get and a recommended UK supplier? Thanks in advance

I'd go with these cross drilled rotors (the ones I got are black zinc coated) Cross-Drilled Brake Rotors (brakeperformance.com)
And these pads from Porterfield. 2015/JAGUAR/XF 3.0L ENG/Porterfield Brakes - Porterfield Brakes (porterfield-brakes.com)

You might have to double check the parts, I just guessed on which model XF when I searched by car. If you don't find a pad from porterfield, call them. They can help you find one or even make you a set if they don't have them yet.

If the warning came on the wear indicators are now junk. Be sure and order another set with your brake parts.

Good advice. I didn't know that at the time when I ordered all my stuff and had to put the project on hold while they came in.

Yes same here! So now I try to replace pads before the indicator comes on just so I don't need to mess with the wear indicator stuff.

I hate to post this as I do like the idea of a wear sensor BUT if you don't want to mess with this and just want to get rid of it for good. You can connect the two wires together going to the wear sensors and tuck them back out of the way. One and done.

Also at least on my XJR there is only one wear sensor per axle and I can't remember if they are on the drivers or passengers side of the car?

On my XFR there is one per axle, and they are at opposite corners. RIght rear and left front IIRC.
