Not sure if anyone is looking for new tires .I got these Bridgestone at tirerack a few months back ..They had a deal if you bought a whole set you got a $100 gift card and a $80 instant discount .But I ended up going with 285/35/20 instead of 285/30/20 ..I was a little worried they wouldn't look right but they actually fill up the fender better and ride alot smoother... Obviously the front tires are a different size ,but I just bought 4 of the 285's because I basically got the other 2 tires for an extra $30..So for all 4 it was $240 ..And I did end up going with 255/40/20 on the front so they matched up better with the rear .But they do still have the 285/35/20 on tirerack for like $112 a tire and normal price is like $500 per tire .Just thought I would share ..because I was considering lowering because of the fender gap but these tires filled it up nice and saved a few hundred dollers per tire ..I'll get some pics up a little later ..
I just looked up your old and new sizes on a comparison check here: - Tyre Size Calculator
The new 285/30 tyres will cause your speedo to under-read by 0.6% or about 2.7 mph at 60 mph. However, as speedos normally under-read by about the same amount, you're basically quits. My XE at 32mph is actually doing 30mph. Here in the UK councils have installed speed reading signs, and there is one in our village which I always use when I buy a new car to see the difference.
