I was working on replacing the supercharger coupler and when I was removing the throttle body. I broke one of the hard lines/tubes. It must have fallen on to the shield below because I could not find it. Anyone know what options I have or do I need to get it at the dealer?

Hi, the same happend to me. Mine broke on a different location, but same problem, brittle plastic, almost impossible to fix. Tried to fix it, did not think it would last long and so I ended up replacing it. There is an updated version available, part number C2Z26930. One leg of that tube is sealed and does not connect anywhere. Instead the bleeder from the water pump connects now straight into the main cooler hose (C2Z28258) so you need to replace that as well. Both parts should fit your car, but better check with the dealer first.

I have to replace the water pump on my 2011 5.0 NA . It looks these parts are probably the same for the 2011. How was it replacing that throttle body hose. It looks like its crimped on - Did the new hose come with a new crimp clamp or can a small hose clamp work . Assume the you had to remove the throttle body . I'm just anticipating a similar issue when I try to replace the pump.
Thanks,
Nick
The clamps are not crimped, they are standard self-tightening hose clamps which you can remove with standard hose clamp pliers or normal pliers. The new y-tube comes with one clamp and a hose to connect under the throttle body. If you want to replace the entire thing the trotthle body will need to come out. But you can leave the rubber hose in place and just connect the new plastic y-pipe to it.

Just an update. I was finally able to put in the new parts after getting the wrong parts. I ran into one problem. There was still part of the old elbow left over inside of the hole. As I tried to remove it I broke the plastic ring that the elbow pushes into. Any chance I can get a replacement? Is there a way I can pull it from an old water pump? (Maybe someone has one).
Just to update the thread, I was replaced the o-ring inside with a slightly thicker one and I was able to reuse the black plastic ring even with 3 feet. Seems to be holding the coolant so far. No leaks but I’ll keep an eye on it.
