After doing some research, including a couple of threads on this site, while the owners manual does mention Shell brake fluid, it appears that this particular product isn't available here in the US.
I did, however, find a product by the brand Pentosin, that IS available in my area, and it's manufacturers' website says that it's good for use in Jaguars....

Yes, I quoted your post. Does the bottle mention the correct spec that applies to your XF?
