chipped chrome cover on mirror
hey guys. sanity check this before i blow 100 bucks on it please:
Jaguar XF (2011-2015). #C2D5489: Door Mirror Cover. Mirror cover.
caught a rock w/ the passenger side chrome cover on my mirror this weekend. huge chip.
If anyone knows a cheaper solution i'll take it. I'm quite sure i can do my own install of it...

Plenty of relatively cheap chrome mirror covers on eBay, see here for example:
2010 2011 Jaguar XF XK XFR XKR Chrome Door Mirror Covers | eBay
I put a pair of these on my old XFS, quite good fit but not "perfect", left a little gap around the edge which I covered with 3 mm wide stick on chrome strip, looked almost factory after that little mod.
You just need to be very steady when sticking them on, the 3M tape adheres instantly.
