Coolant Leak
It can absolutely be replaced, but not from Jaguar, who will only sell you the part as part of the pipe.
It's the same thread/length as the ones used on a load of BMWs, so you can replace with Dorman Part No 902-404, available at Autozone as well as Amazon etc.
Also, if you check eBay you can find brass aftermarket replacements for around $10 which I think is probably well worth it.

No way...I have the same issue (I HOPE), what engine is that? 3.0 S/C? Is that the same pipe (Part Number C2Z11054) or a different one. If this is it....I'm about to donate the remaining $1,765 to charity (I got quotes $1775+TAX for the repair, Jaguar said they can only order the bleeder screw with the pipe + 7 hour labour)
Hey, how long did the job take? Did you replace it with a brass plug or a plastic one. Curious to know if the heater hose was damaged in the process.
I only replaced the bleeder screw. The screw head snapped off when I was unscrewing it and then I had to get the body of the screw out which took a little while. But in the end, the Dorman Part No 902-404 did the trick. I didn't get the brass screw because I needed a quick replace, but I most likely will order one soon so I never have to worry about it again.
