Default coolant leak under intake/ cant remove super charger

Supercharger removal 2009 xf s/c 4.2
I did everything the directions said but there is no access to the bottom torx bolts. is the any way I can create more room? Very poor design. And its just coolant pipe leak under intake. I thought my audi s6 was a b****. Please help a disable combat vet. I so stressed out.

Thanks

I'm about to try the same thing. Spent last weekend fighting the EGR valve off it but then looked at the Torx and thought they were going to be a bugger and left it because it was getting late. I'm going to see if I can engineer a way to them whilst retaining most of the skin on my knuckles.

Tip, when you do get it off replace the grommet on the hose sticking up on the right of that picture, they fail after about 10 years and let air in. Its a cheap piece to fix in terms of parts, but as you have found, an utter nightmare to actually do. ideally replace with a brass fitting instead of a plastic one.

If you drop the back of the transmission the motor will tilt and you may be able to get at them from underneath easier, in the tunnel.

Well, yea, after a bit of a fight I managed to remove the two hex bolts and 3 of the torx bolts. The one under the coolant connections is still eluding removal.
Despite the manual saying its an in car repair it probably would have been quicker and easier to have dropped the whole engine out to get access to all the gubbins. Whilst I'm now fairly confident I'll be able to get the last one out with some more fiddling, I've no idea htf I'm going to get it back together....

I discovered that with my right-hand-drive variant of this car it was necessary to drop the engine / transmission / subframe assembly out of the car to remove the supercharger. Once I was resigned to that fact, it was not such a bad task. Probably about 20 hours work.
