Default Couple of recent problems

So I got my certified 2010 XF Premium Portfolio back in December. I hadn't had any problems except running over a stupid pot hole that bent 2 rims. A couple of weeks ago I opened my garage door to the strong smell of gas. I drove to work and I could smell the gas while it was stopped. I took it in and they replaced a fuel flange they said was leaking. Later that Friday night I put $50 in the tank. I drove down the street when I noticed it was less than half full still. I was planning on driving to Florida on Sunday so I was not happy since they were closed until Monday. Also, the usb port in the center console was no longer working. When I would plug my hard drive in it would say "docking" then the whole screen would shut down and reset. The usb port is the only thing I use for music in the car. After being on vacation for a week, I drove it all this week with the fuel level not moving and took the car in at 7:30 this morning. They were short a few techs so it didn't get looked at today. Just wanted to share and was wondering if anyone else has experienced any of these issues. I love driving the car but if this is how things are going to be I won't be keeping it very long. The 2013 XF base is complete garbage btw.

heem:
If these events have soured you on the car, I would say you will probably not enjoy the Jaguar experience.
OK, so you had a leaking fuel pump flange. It happens. Then the tech either screwed up the fuel level sensor or did not get the connector seated when he fixed the flange. That's about par for the course in my experience, Jaguar or not.

And, any USB port can fail. Have you tried another HDD device? Sounds like it might be a short in the connector.

The positive feeling you have while driving a Jaguar omes at a price... just sayin!

I enjoy the Jaguar experience and don't plan on giving up yet. Just didn't think I would be dealing with these kind of problems on a car not that old. I forgot to mention the air vaporizer that had to be replaced, had a loud buzzing sound when the a/c was turned on, and the two times I had to take it in to get the sunroof rattle fixed. I don't think there is anything better for the money so I'll keep it until the warranty is up.

Heh, heh. You will probably have many more little nigglies that you did on your Jap car, but the ride, the aura, the feel,...priceless!
Actually, my wife's XJ8 never had any problems except one brake job during it's 60,000 mile warranty. But there have been several sensors and lighting issues in the 8 years since. One think I like about Jaguars is that they do not tend to have the rattles, and the knob falling off in your hand kind of problems. I does sound like you are having more than your share at this point!
