This was my first ever made mod for mine XF.

From the beginnings the absence of Genuine Jaguar footstep enraged me, the aftermarket solution such like Mina or Arden don’t like so much for buy them, so got deception to try design something own with similar sports pedals cover which were install from dealer.

As soon as measurements and drawings were finished, there was found company which made the laser cutting on my stainless steel plates, plexiglas and rubber.

The main motive was taken from Jaguar mascot prototype C-XF

The first one footstep has holes for fixing also beat matched blue color LED for backlighting.





the power lid was taken from illuminating sill cover






after a few months decide to change first one footstep for another one with аlush mount and true Jaguar phosphorescent blue light which was taken from door theatre lamp: C2P12595

Unfortunately production is not cheap, prime cost was obtained not below 120-150USD, so it was very hard to find a lot of customers who wants to pay a few dollars more. So it was made only 2 pcs.

 

I have been looking for a front set of illuminated Treadplates for my 05 Silverstone R. I'm coming up empty. I
If you decide to make more count me in.
