My recently acquired XF 2011 2.2d doesnt support the electronic oil level indicator but I cant find a dipstick. There is a unscrewable cap near oil filler but no dipstick. Also does having no spare wheel present a problem. Can I buy one or an alloy on line. Everybody only wants to sell 4 at a time.

 

I think you'll find it does the electronic level.
It only comes up after the engine is warmed to temp., turned off and is left sitting for 10- 15 minutes. (scrolled by the end indicator knob)

The capped tube is to evacuate the oil with a pump at oil change.
