Disabling Start-Stop
Some has had good luck with disabling Start-Stop on a new XF:

Don't know if that would be of any help to older XFs, but I figure it's nice to know that someone has done it on a Jaguar
Just try'n to help my Jaguar-drive'n buddies

well....has anyone tried this on their 2012-2015 XF's...I've seen so many threads with people crying about this topic and how horrible and unfair it is that we can't just turn it off for good. Here is a possible solution and no responses. lol
I'm pretty sure the stop/start battery set-up and cabling is completely different on the new X260 XF compared to the 2012-2015 X250 XF, so unlikely this would work on one of them.
But on my MY2015 F-Type with the secondary battery stop/start system all I had to do was remove the positive lead from the second battery, best move I ever made. Completely disabled the system without effecting anything else and no error messages or codes. From MY2016 on the F-Type changed to a different single battery stop/start system, so maybe this trick that works for an X260 will work on the later F-Type?

Blades.
9x20 front and 10.5x20 rear.
I'll be putting them back on once I get the gutter rash fixed on one later this week.

But remember, these are just about the most expensive F-Type wheels there are, I think only the SVR wheels cost more.

Not stock pads but nothing fancy, Centric Posiquiet semi-metallic, and after-market drilled & slotted front rotors (swapped off my XFR).
Not a big fan of these pads, a bit creaky and graunchy and not the best fade resistance, but at least they are half the dust of the stock pads.

Personally think it's a good swap to make
I don't know that I would make that trade. The stopping power on the XF is pretty dam impressive. I actually enjoy the fact that the brakes bite so hard. I let my father-in-law drive my 2011...it was a blast!!! He would press the brake and the car would screech to a halt. ... almost got rear ended. I had to get him to pull over so I could drive...hehehe.. I should not have enjoyed that!!....lol...but yea, the dust is a bad. Kills your wheels and the surrounding components get full of grime too.

Why don't you brake dust guys take your discussion to a new thread. That would certainly make searching the list for it easier.

Mods/Admin - any chance of moving the off-topic posts somewhere else?
I can vouch for the X260 Start/Stop disable by removing the connector at the module. Initial error code goes away on its' own and no more after that, only the usual message saying it's off. I removed the large grey connector with one black wire (easier to access).
