Damn, I could of sworn we made this point several posts ago, lol.

Absolutely a fact that heavier wheels lead to more wear and tear. First, bigger doesn't necessarily mean heavier. Second, I think most people know this but it often doesn't mean anything. This is the third car I've plus-sized. Haven't lost a tranny yet, lol.
Made myself looked silly? Dude, I'm not the one that changed the sleek low profile intentions on my luxury car. LMAO!

Very nice looking. Personally, an inch or two smaller would be my choice to see a little bit more tire, but the style of the wheels are great.

Default BLack Pack wheels

I think they look fine. In the photo is also different to seeing them in person. At first I was looking for a set of wheels like these.

But personally, I do like the Wheels from the Black Pack. I think it is quietly understated and not over the top in terms of size. I've given up trying to make the XF too over the top and too sporty since it doesn't really do it justice. I think there is really not much to change on the XF it was designed for a reason and adding too much to it will just make it OTT. IMHO.

63% say they like the look, while 31% say they think it's not a good look. IMO, the number speaks for themselves. Only 63% saying they like the car isn't good IMO. For the money invested, the numbers should be much higher. However, to the contrary, if you do a public poll of a stocked Jaguar 09' XF SC, I guarantee you the percentage for liking the XF will be upward of 85% guaranteed. There is no way that only 63% will say they like the XF SC. No way in hell. But to each it's own. Duke ur wheels are nice and expensive, I give u props for not putting a cheap wheel on an XF. And I like that particular metal as well. But ur car was already super sharp from the start bro. Maybe a stag look would've been best?

I believe that we have gotten away from the orginal question that Duke posted. He asked if we thought his XF was distasteful or ghetto. He never asked if anyone "liked" his XF. 2 very different questions. Although I may not go for aftermarket wheels on certain vehicles, I find Dukes car neither ghetto nor distasteful. Now I've seen some cars on this and other forums that I would deem distasteful, however, Duke's car isn't one of them. I actually wonder how some people are going to feel about some of these "mods" that they've done, once these fads wear out in about a year or so. Some will be able to simply move on, but a lot of others will be stuck with those creations.

The only number that matters is the ONE who's car it is. I'm gonna put some pics of mine on here as soon as I get a chance and I'm sure some will think it's not to there taste, my wheels are too big, my tint is too dark, or something because you simply can't please everyone. And I'm fine with that. In my first post, I mentioned that I was taking the 18's off and putting 20's on and I had people saying that they wouldn't do that.

Most will just move on. I used to do a lot of different things to my cars but as I have gotten older I don't do as much. But when I did get tired of my car or didn't want to do anything else to it, I would trade or sell it.

If so then why post pics of your car online? If you don't won't others input then don't post it online.

There is not a problem with getting others input. When the people told me not to put 20's on my car, they just gave their opinion and moved on. I respected their opinions and gave my reasons why I was and that was that. They didn't CONTINUALLY try to get me to think they were correct.

You brought up performance, which makes the difference between cast and forged relevant. Don't want you to feel I ignored your question my friend.

I am an 80 year old man and with the white and black color scheme the new wheels look very sharp.....actually, outstanding ! I would not see the difference between 20 and 22 inch however. I LIKE WHAT I SEE ! BTW, I drive an 09 XFSC (Vapour Grey)

Thanks Rod. Very nice wheel choice by you. The black sets it off nicely.

Those look like the Savini BM3's; they look great on your car. I was considering some of the Savini's, may still get a set for summer. BM 4's are nice too.

'Preciate that Jaguny! Yea they are the BM3s. I also looked at the BM4s. There's a black XF on ButlerTire that has the BM4s in 22s and it looks very nice as well. I was also looking at.the Zoe Gin because they were very close to how my factories looked but when I called them.the guy said they probably won't start production on them til MAYBE summer, and I didn't want to wait that long, especially on a MAYBE. I'm very satisfied with the decision i made! 'Preciate the positive feedback.
