Default Downpipes with Vibrant Performance GESi 300 Cell CATS

Hi Gents,

Well I finally had downpipes made for the XFR (which currently has the Mina Y-pipe intake, BMC filters, x-pipe, modified XFR mufflers, Mina supercharger pulley and tune by OE tuning). I used 2.5" 304ss to match the system throughout and got rid of the mid-pipe bottle neck. I choose the Vibrant Performance GESi 300 cell CATS after a lot of research. They cost $350 each. My second choose was HJS Cats but they were $650 each (ouch).

Honesty,...the exhaust really isn't that loud (wish it was 20% louder). It sounds like "a hint" of an F-type at times in the low-mid rpm range. I am using the "modified/valve delete" XFR mufflers so the sound is stock like. I also have the Mina exhaust which I plan on putting back on for even more flow.

In terms of performance...you can really tell the difference past 4k rpm. The car really pulls to redline. Prior to the modifications, you could actually hear the noise from the bottleneck area (sounded like sandblasting) and the car felt like it was holding back at the higher rpms.

Was it worth the $1400 investment ($900 parts & $500 labor)? I think it was especially since my next step is Aquamist water meth and crank pulley. The car benefits from more flow.

I had my work done by Dennis at RNZ Conceptz in San Diego. I have know him for 8 years and have always taken my cars to him. He started his shop as a side project and it became full time as his reputation spread.

I have a question. My 4.2 supercharged has 4 sensors, one before the CAT and the other in the CAT. Were are the other sensors?

Those would be all the sensors.
