Default Driver's Heated Seat not heating

The driver's seat heat is not working and I am suspecting the fuse. I looked up the fuse in the manual and it appears to be F25-20A Yellow that is referenced as the Driver's Heated/Climate Seat. Is there any way to tell if the fuse is bad after I pull it? Or just replace the fuse and see if I have heat. All other seat controls work just not the heating portion of the seat function. The fuse is located in the passenger's compartment fuse box. Has anyone else experienced this same problem.

It's generally pretty easy to tell if a fuse is blown. Pull it out and if the wire inside is broken or the fuse is black or cloudy inside then replace it

Well the fuse turned out to be good, no break in the wire. I replaced the original fuse, but I still don't feel any heat in the drivers seat. I sat in the passenger seat while my daughter drove and the heat in the seat got very warm quickly. Still no heat in the drivers seat. Does anyone have a new idea for me to check why the drives seat will not heat?

Bump!

An old thread but I have the same symptoms - have checked and swapped out fuses and ventilation etc is working but heated seat not. Passenger seat working fine so I assume some wiring and/or heating element issue.

Can anyone point me in the right direction - I've taken a good look under the seat and all the wires look ok but it's very hard to tell.

Cheers

O.

There were some posts a while a back about pins pushing out of the connectors causing this issue. I don't know how hard it is to get access to the wiring but you may have to remove the seat and diagnose the problem with a digital multi-meter.

The ventilation stopped working on my driver's seat last year. The cheap plastic ducts break down and need to be repaired/taped up. I had to pull the back of my seat apart to fix it. I think the heating portion uses the same ducting. It might be worth inspecting it. Removing the back portion of the seat (plastic cover) is fairly easy.

My ventilation stopped working on the drivers seat last year. Dealer changed out some 'cells' in the seat to the tune of $1200. Wouldn't have done it if not for warranty coverage.

I think the venting is all one piece and it is very expensive so they likely replaced all of it.
