If you look at their website they show you a dyno graph. I love your "maybe" response. It is classic. I think if you drove a car that had been tuned you would change your mind. You should look into that & then post your thoughts.

Yeah, and where shall I find a Rica tuned XF 3.0 SC to drive??? And by the way, do you really thing that "marketing" graph on their website is an actual dyno?

If there is one company I can vouch for then its certainly Rica. I have worked with them many times on specific tunes and they are one off the few in the world that are able to tune the Denso ECU's, and certainly the Bosch one that is used now on the new Jaguars.

Admittedly, I really don't yet understand how the tuning process works, but when two companies are within 1 hp of each other and a 3rd claims 20 hp over the other two, I'm suspicious of the 3rd. You'd think that if 50-some hp was available, everyone would be able to get to it.

There is so damn much power to begin with the feeling is like the difference between being smacked with a 2x4 v a 2x6. If you can tell the difference, you been beaten too many times!! Unless you're on a 2.5 miles oval the power is essentially unuseable! Sounds good at the bar but........these cars are all traction limited off the line so the numbers are meaningless. Same as a ZR1 v a Z06. HP without traction is just blowing smoke.

You're right about the traction off the line. These things are highway beasts, but I'm always spinning my tires from a dead stop. They just have SO much power and torque, so without AWD and/or launch control, it's hard to get a hole shot from a stand still. Good problem to have, I guess.
