Default Electric Door Lock not working

Tonight it seems one of the door locks on my 09 XF gave up. It's not completely dead, but it's like it doesn't have enough power to lock or unlock.. It tries, but the poor little guy just can't get the job done..
Common issue? Quick/easy fixes? or, a trip to the dealer for some out-of-warranty work?

How does it feel locking it manually as compared to the other doors? Could be a binding mechanism or a weak lock actuator. Remove the door panel and lubricate the mechanism or replace the lock actuator. Otherwise, take to the repair facility. This could be done by an independent Jag shop easily.

it does feel a little rough so maybe it just needs some lube.. No way i'm trying to yank that door panel off though..
I'm due for my 20k (5 year!) service so I'll let the dealer fuss with it (at my expense)..
