Default Electronics Lag in response

Enjoying my 4th week of the 2012 XFR, and am very pleased of my choice in the 'R', color, and interior. However, the response from the the electronics (Navigation) when starting the car, or changing a selection while driving, lags (ie: it takes some moments to respond). I'll be on my way, and the radio may only come on in 5 seconds. Not that I don't have the seconds, but I am surprised that the system does not respond immediately once the ignition is activated. Is this standard for Jaguars?

That sucks. That is enough to deter me from buying one. There isn't really any excuse for a subpar system in a car of this class, at this price point.

Your right, but thats a minor issue to deal with if you want one of these beauties.

I heard (not confirmed, however) that the '12 Infotainment system is more polished and better looking, but is actually slower than the previous generation. It certainly seemed that way when I drove the '12 models at the R Performance Academy, but in all honesty I was more interested in driving than playing with the controls.
