Engine Air Filter Replacement
#3
There is a video online that shows it for a 4.2L, but it is pretty straightforward if you pop the hood and check out the airboxes. You may need to unscrew a bolt or two, but there are a few latches that hold the air box covers on. You just pop those off, pull out the old filter and pop in the new one.
The OEM filters are the recommended replacement due to the sensitivity of the intake monitoring system. This is coming from several Jag techs, one of which is on this board. My car had K&N filters in it when i bought it, and I had them removed and OEM filters put in their place.
