Has anyone encountered this error code P2105? I'm trying to search online and can't find much. As if the car was suffocating.

Had this same issue on my 2011 XFR for 2 weeks, very frustrating because I would take things apart and try different methods, test drive for 5-6 miles and right as I got excited, I was left stranded. Restricted performance at 40mph, loss of power, then around 5mph the engine started stuttering or choking as you said.

I’ll try to find pics of when I did this to help explain but you need to remove the main center intake tube and get access to the front of the throttle body. I have the Mina Gallery intake so it’s very easy, the stock plastic you may have to remove the tops of each intake air box as well.

Get yourself a bottle of CRC Throttle Body Cleaner ~$10@ Oreillys. You want to spray that on and around the (gold/brass color) throttle plate located inside the throttle body.

If you talk to the experts they will give a different answer, but I was able to pull this off being very slow and careful. The throttle plate controlled by an electronic motor, so if you jerk the plate around too much you’ll cause a much bigger headache. Slowly flip the plate and give the edge and good spray and wipe, also around the black center piece that connects to the motor. That’s where my buildup was that caused the P2105 which was over working the motor.

After you do this and let dry for a bit, you can start the ignition, not running, slowly decompress the gas pedal a few times, if you can hear the plate clicking (opening and closing), should be good to go. I set my phone up to record the plate as well just to make sure.
