Hi,

I'm trying to remove the drivers door lock from my 2010 XF and failing.

I've read the manual, and just can't see how to get it past the window mechanism.

Anyone succeeded ?

This should be easy, but don't want to break it.

This vid is for the rear door lock, but the basics should be the same for the front door lock:

 

Thanks sorted, it's easy... The bit the manual isn't clear about is you need remove the window... Open wind 3/4 inches. You can then reach in to spring the window clips back and use 2 thin bits of metal to to keep the from springing back. Then lift the window out.

The rest is easy.

Take locksmith's help in removing the door lock, they will be able to do it with perfection.
