Fuel cam timing

Default Fuel cam timing

Can anyone tell me for sure if I have put this chain on and timed it correctly please? 5.0L

Is your crank locked with the locking tool in that photo?

The only locking/location tool I have replaces the crank sensor and therefore requires a flex plate and bellhousing and then locks the engine with the crank key at 6 o'clock (engine right way up). Is there another tool?

But I believe to time this chain the key needs to be at 9 o'clock. Although I only have this video to go on, see photo at 21 seconds in. Hence my question.

The JLR workshop manual sections show where the chains and sprockets should be with the crank locked with the tool at 6 O'Clock (see attached) - INA/Tsubaki is for the two pitches of chain, although I'm afraid I don't remember which is which. I'd reset with the crank locked to ensure the timing is spot on.

Thanks for those Dave, already have the manual. The problem is that the marked links on the chain I have are much closer together than the one shown in the pictures. I can't lock the crank at 6 O'clock because there is no flex plate or bellhousing fitted but the chain is marked differently anyway.

Pretty confident it is timed correctly. I just noticed a third marked link, black so I hadn't noticed it's significance before, and when I wind the crank around so the key is at 6 o'clock the black link lines up as shown in the manual with a gold link by the sprocket dot. Don't need to lock the crank as one tooth is a large degree shift. Thanks for your help.

Yep, looks good to me - also compare to mine from photo in rebuild thread, the fuel pump cam is at the same angle (with different colored links in the chain and you can't see the one at the bottom of the crank, lol)
