Hi, Ive bought a replacment hinge kit from jaguar as mine got broken when my fuel door wouldn't open. Kit is JAGUAR XF FUEL FLAP HINGE AND SPRING KIT - C2Z14114

Can anyone help in how I fit this please?

Can it be achieved without the service tool? JLM21856

 

In all honesty, I just replaced the whole assembly that has the spring on the outside just under the locking solenoid when I did mine (2010). I was just answering a request. I would assume one could make a jig for it to secure the spring if yours still has the spring inside the arm pocket (This is for the 2008-2009 models that I am aware of)
