hiya can anyone help in telling me how to remove fuel flap hinge .on a 2009 xf as i managed to break mine when flap got stuck again..thanks cliff

How did you get it off? It seems nobody else has figured it out or you would have gotten a response. Your insight would be really helpful to the next person that runs into it.

 

hiya ,first remove wheel and inner wheel arch.remove fuel filler cap.undo clips around insert from under wheel arch loosern of fuel filler neck and clip on fuel flap actuator.re.move complete insert [bowl] then hinge can be pulled out from bowl.good luck approx 1hr to do
