Default fuel smell

2010 4.2 XF. I'll start of by saying I have no codes and no pending codes. No fuel smell while car is being driven. However, when the car engine is stopped there is a fuel smell, inside the car and outside. I've pulled the back seat and checked the locking ring around the fuel basket. It's as if the evaporative system has a leak. But if it did, would it not set a code? Any ideas guys?

What are your trims? If your running rich you could be pouring fuel into your intake and not having it burn off, also have you inspected your rail?

I've not checked the trims. I have inspected the fuel rail and replaced the left Damper
