Hi all, I have a 2008 2.7 D XF. I have had it about a year and it has recently developed a slight drone noise and vibration between 1,500-2,000 RPM (seems worse around 2-4 gear change range.

Is this a know fault, or can anyone advise what it might be?

It sounds like you might have a problem common to XF 2.7 and 3.0 diesels, a fuel line hum or resonance.

The fix is not cheap or easy, it involves replacing all three fuel lines.
