Hi guys.

My check gearbox light came on for the first time but after restarting the car it stayed of and did not appear again after a few Km's. What could be the issue? Its the very first time this happens.

Mine does this randomly too, in my case its usually a communications issue between the ECU and the gearbox module, if the ECU misses a few messages from the gearbox it in a row it throws a wobbly and turns that light on. It is usually means nothing other than the CANBUS was too busy or the battery isn't in a good state and the modules are playing up due to poor power supply. Usual IT fix works, just turn the car off and on again. Might want to check the condition of your battery tho.
